DVTS(Digital Video Transport System) is software which enables DV (Digital Video) distribution on the Internet. WIDE Project (*1) started the development and demonstrated DVTS in Supercomputer Conference held in Orland, Florida in 1988.
DVTS runs on various OS and high-quality image distribution system is possible with low cost by connecting DVTS to PC through IEEE1394 interface.
On the Windows XP, DV streaming which is taken by way of Internet can be shown and high-quality image broadcast system is made possible on the PC environment connected to the broadband network.
